Inspiration?Posted on 19 September 2008 at 4:48 PM Sigh, I just don't have the will to draw anymore. Wonder where it all went. Curious, how do ya'll get inspiration? (to draw) Here's another doodle for your troubles.  And things I want/need done: -- buy a bicycle. -- employment. -- file for graduation. -- draw more. -- draw christmas card. -- make more MB friends. -- start a new art journal. -- exercise.

Ahhhh me too! Actually, I haven't been on this drawing fast for that long, and with school starting and stuff, it seems reasonable. I look at others' artworks, but I admire them, but I still end up doing nothing. I buy new art mediums sometimes - I bought grey markers, but I haven't done anything with them, too. lol lol
OKAY. I'm going to try to draw now. lol lol... The artist that Ungaikyo suggested is really wonderful.. Wow. lol lol

Looking through the art sites of my favorite artists, like Kirino or Graffiti-Bunny.
It sets me in a really nice mood and helps me strive to become better

to an extent, art sites depresses me xD cause i always come to the realization that i will never be creative as them.
now that i think about it, most of the sites i visit are because i admire their styles but i don't really want to do their style. i guess i should look for artists with more of my style (cartoony hard cel-coloring ish?) to get me feeling more confident and capable. and thanks for the input. *googles Kirino and Graffiti-Bunny*

Art sites make me happy to know that there is fantabulous art out there in the world. But there are times when I get depressed as well so I understand :`D I like artists who draw langy, tall people or draw children's illustrations, so I'm not sure if I know many artists who have a similar style to yours. If I find any, would you like me to send them to you? I don't want to be a bother but I'd like to help you get inspired Graffiti-Bunny hasn't uploaded her illustration page yet, so all her images are found mostly in her blog and news section. i'd say its a mix between listening to music and wanting to be better. But it really is the majority, isn't it? Those are my reasons; thus, my answer. n_n

listening to music while drawing makes me really sleepy! after 15 minutes, i end up falling asleep for a 30-60 min nap. I CAN'T HELP IT LOL! but anyway, thanks for your answer =]
